Richard Fitzgerald - Colorado Woodturner Richard has spent his life in southwestern Colorado surrounded by the Anasazi ruins. The lines of their ancient pottery have a definite influence on his work. His graceful, visually rich wooden vessels are created from dead trees native to southwestern Colorado and the Western United States. Richard derives great satisfaction from taking a piece of wood that has been abandoned by life itself and turning it into a beautiful piece of art. |
